Probate & Estate Administration Paralegal
Greenville, SC (Onsite)
Direct Hire | $45,000–$55,000
A well-established law firm in Greenville is seeking a paralegal to support its estate and trust administration process. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable, collaborative firm known for strong employee retention.
This role supports post-mortem estate administration and is ideal for someone with experience in probate, estate administration, or a probate court environment who can manage files, communicate with clients, and keep processes moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist attorneys with probate and estate administration processes
-Prepare and file probate documents, including opening documents, inventories, and closing filings
-Manage estate and trust files, including tracking documentation and deadlines
-Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions
-Maintain organized case files and electronic documentation
-Coordinate meetings and support overall case progression
Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in probate law, estate planning, estate administration, or probate court environment
-Paralegal certificate or paralegal degree required
-Experience preparing or reviewing probate filings and estate documents preferred
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strongly preferred:
-Experience working with probate court filings, estate case management, or high-volume estate files.
Schedule:
-Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (onsite)
Compensation & Benefits:
-$45,000–$55,000 depending on experience
