Job Description
Warehouse Operations Associate
The Warehouse Operations Associate supports day-to-day warehouse, shipping, and inventory activities while providing accurate data entry and responsive customer service via email/phine calls. This role helps ensure orders are processed correctly, shipments go out on time, and inventory is organized and recorded in the warehouse management systems.
Primary DutiesShipping, Order Processing & Customer Service
Assemble customer supplies and packages with precision.
Select, package, and tag orders for timely dispatch.
Coordinate daily parcel handoffs to carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
Respond to customer and internal emails regarding order status, shipment details, and basic product inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Enter order, shipment, and tracking information accurately into company software and spreadsheets.
Inbound Logistics & Stock Management
Receive, check, and verify incoming freight and pallet loads.
Transport goods securely with pallet jacks.
Organize storage areas for optimal access and inventory control.
Perform accurate data entry of receipts, locations, and stock adjustments into warehouse or inventory systems.
Facility Upkeep
Maintain a clean, orderly workspace free of clutter.
Keep aisles and zones safe and unobstructed in accordance with safety guidelines.
Stock Monitoring
Support periodic audits and stock verification.
Flag shortages, defects, or discrepancies to leads or supervisors promptly.
Self-starter who thrives with little oversight and takes ownership of tasks.
Follow safety standards rigorously.
Suggest ways to streamline workflows and improve processes.
Provide reliable, courteous customer service via email and in person.
Routine lifting of 30 lbs or less.
Comfortable operating pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
Meticulous, able to follow instructions, and consistently punctual.
Basic computer and data entry skills; comfortable working with email, spreadsheets, and warehouse/inventory software.
Bonus: Background in logistics, packing, or storage operations.
