MUSEUM MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION Judith Basin County is an equal opportunity employer. Reports to: Judith Basin County Commissioners. Keeps daily log of activities. meet with the Commissioners monthly to review activities Hours and starting pay: Seasonal PT (1st-day June 17th/last day September 7, 2026) 36 hours per week, beginning pay $15.00 per hour. (If a legal Holiday is worked hourly pay will be double). OPEN Tuesday Sunday: 11 a.m. 5:00 p.m. OVERALL FUNCTIONS: Take care for the museum and its contents. Employment Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have the ability to use hands and arms, walk, sit and stand, hear and talk; and sufficient vision to read manuals and labels. Must be able to lift 25 pounds, negotiate the stairs safely, and climb a ladder. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES: Museum 1. Unlocks outside doors in the morning. 2. Sweeps and Mops Floors 3. Dailey clean and sanitizes restrooms, refill toilet paper & hand towels 4. Empties garbage 5. Dusts window sills, furniture and items on display. 6. Washes windows as needed 7. Vacuums carpets and spot cleans as needed 8. Oils wood furniture as needed Public Relations 1. Greets the public in a friendly manner 2. Answers the publics questions and/or routes to appropriate sections 3. Maintains professionalism by exercising tact and courtesy at all times 4.
