Job Description As an NBCUniversal Academic Year intern, you’ll work on real projects across two full semesters, gaining hands‑on experience in media, entertainment, and technology. Program Details Program Dates: September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027 Time Commitment: 16–24 hours per week (schedule to be determined based on business needs and course schedules) Location: New York, NY Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour Placement Areas Production, Creative Group – Assist with brand and marketing materials, prepare files for print and digital, adapt existing assets, support press‑ready material delivery, and learn print production fundamentals. Rockefeller Center Operations, Guest Experience – Support retail, merchandising, marketing, and social initiatives for the Shop and Tours, including product development, competitive shopping, print marketing, social campaigns, and photoshoots. Qualifications Must be actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program at an accredited institution for the entire duration (September 2026 through April 2027). Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits). Authorized to work in the United States; must not require work‑visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future. Available to work 16–24 hours per week during the program dates. Willing to work in New York, NY. Students with a junior standing or above preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. For Production, Creative Group: Basic understanding of design principles (typography, layout, composition), familiarity with vector and raster graphics, interest in print production fundamentals. For Rockefeller Center Operations, Guest Experience: Academic focus on Merchandising, Product Development or Social Media; strong Excel skills; Photoshop literacy.
