Rectifying Technician - A Shift

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to
• Helping to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for Additional Finishes department
• Following the Quality Management System, which is certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations
• Performing necessary Lock/Tag/Test audits and assisting in delivering weekly safety training materials
• Ensuring product specifications are followed throughout the Additional Finishes department
• Responsible for reviewing PM, lubrication (type of grease, oil and chemical products)
• Assisting the supervisor in coordinating the operations of Additional Finishes department
• Responsible for training of all new hires in regards to safety, quality policy and management systems, as well as operations of all finishing equipment and product knowledge
• Responsible for working with maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs
• Fill-in and relief responsibility for all Additional Finishes job functions
• Operating loader and unloader machines, changes set-up, and completes basic maintenance tasks
• Assisting in water treatment duties and application of chemical products

Completed other tasks as needed. Core competencies include strong communication and listening skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, conflict resolution skills, and ability to analyze, plan and schedule.
