Job overview:
The QA/QC Coordinator (Electrical/Construction/Material) is responsible for performing incoming inspections and return material acceptance at the Glendale Warehouse. This role ensures materials meet quality standards and project requirements, with a strong focus on electrical materials, drawing interpretation, and material verification. The position also supports QA/QC documentation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
General Responsibilities:
• Oversee incoming material inspections and return material acceptance
• Verify material specifications, quantities, and conditions against drawings and project requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to support inspection and material validation
• Perform material take-offs based on drawings and ensure accuracy of quantities
• Review and maintain QA/QC inspection records, NCRs, and CAPA documentation
• Coordinate with engineering, warehouse, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues
• Identify and report non-conforming materials and support corrective actions
• Support outbound material inspection to ensure shipment quality and accuracy
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and support audit readiness
• Assist with quality analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Qualification:
• Arizona C-11 Electrical Contractor License
• Hands-on experience in electrical, construction, or industrial environments is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with material take-offs and quantity verification
• Familiarity with electrical materials and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
• English communication required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
• U.S. electrician license (Journeyman or equivalent) is a plus
• Taiwan electrician license is also acceptable
• Experience in warehouse material inspection or construction projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Experience working with contractors, vendors, or field teams
• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in QA/QC, inspection, or material control
