Job Description Samaritans Purse is seeking a Ministry Center Facilities Manager to join our team in Northeast metro Atlanta . You will be part of a highly professional Facilities team. The manager will be responsible for warehouse inventory and the general maintenance of buildings and equipment in the assigned regionally located Samaritans Purse locations, including regional ministry centers, North American Disaster Relief (NADR) warehouses, and Operation Christmas Child (OCC) processing centers. Responsibilities include housekeeping, cleaning, loading/unloading trucks and general facility maintenance to Samaritans Purse quality standards. The manager will serve as primary point‑of‑contact for all inquiries and requests related to inventory and access to the assigned ministry buildings. A Day in the Life of a Ministry Center Facilities Manager At Samaritans Purse, the Gospel is the center of all we do. We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, for our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness. Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance for all buildings and grounds, including electrical, building setup, security systems, kitchen equipment, panel systems, painting, and all grounds care including snow removal. Oversee and track projects for the Facilities Department for sites under supervision; coordinate a wide variety of building maintenance and operations activities while establishing and maintaining departmental records and work order database. Determine whether to utilize internal or external services for property management; contact vendors to secure bids for maintenance, repairs, or other services. Manage maintenance and facility‑related vendors; secure competitive bids when needed and monitor quality of work, handling contracting of properly approved services as necessary. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all buildings and building systems; report any departure from preventive maintenance schedules to the Chief Operating Officer, and maintain up‑to‑date records for maintenance and preventive maintenance, submitting reports and logs on a weekly basis or as otherwise directed. Ensure Samaritans Purse tools, parts, and supplies are well organized and inventoried. Oversee ordering and/or purchasing of supplies as needed. Manage assigned inventory, including North American Ministries supplies. Maintain North American Ministries trucks and equipment as directed, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and overall maintenance. Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual. Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers. Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with five (5) to seven (7) years of facilities/warehouse/building management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds, as well as stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Twelve credit hours of college‑level Biblical studies preferred, not required.
