Job Description

Medical Device Sales Representative (Associate Interventional Specialist)

This is a field-based opportunity for someone who is motivated, coachable and excited to build a long-term career in medical device sales.

In this role, you will partner closely with a District Sales Manager and help drive territory growth through account support, case coverage, product education, inventory coordination and customer relationship management. You will be out in the field daily, learning the business hands-on and developing toward greater account ownership over time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from B2B sales, healthcare sales or a clinical background who wants to break into device sales and grow within a strong market.

Compensation

Base Salary : $40,000 - $60,000

On-target earnings : $90,000 - $110,000

Territory Coverage

  • Northern New Jersey territory: Edison, Morristown, Summit, Hoboken, and surrounding areas
  • Field-based role with daily travel throughout the territory

Responsibilities

  • Support territory growth across assigned accounts in Northern New Jersey
  • Partner with the District Sales Manager on customer visits, sales calls, and account development
  • Provide case support, product education, and customer service in clinical settings
  • Assist with patient and customer education, product programming/reprogramming, and follow-up support
  • Help manage inventory, territory activity, and account needs
  • Build relationships with physicians, office staff, and other healthcare stakeholders
  • Participate in field rides, training, educational events, and ongoing product development
  • Consistently work toward sales goals and expanded account responsibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ year of B2B sales experience, healthcare sales experience, or relevant clinical experience
  • Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in medical device sales and willingness to learn in a fast-paced field role
  • Comfortable working in hospitals and procedural settings
  • Able to travel locally on a daily basis, with flexibility for occasional nights or weekends as needed
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance

Preferred Experience

  • Medical device, spine, pain, ortho, trauma, or other healthcare-related sales experience
  • Clinical background such as Physical Therapist, RN, or similar
  • Experience in a highly driven sales environment with measurable performance goals
