Job Description

Healthcare Recruiter

The Healthcare Recruiter is a sales orientated individual who is responsible for the external recruitment of clinical staff to fulfill open shifts and cases at the branch level. In this role, you will report to the Director of Operations or the Talent Acquisition Manager. Duties/Responsibilities: Establishes recruiting priorities with branch leadership team to fulfill open shifts and cases at the branch level. Source new candidates using resume databases, internet searches, job boards, asking for referrals, meeting with community services and local schools. Complete interviews/screens to ensure candidate meets position qualifications and is interested in providing clinical care. Properly documents recruiting actions and process steps in application tracking system. Creates offer letter and initiates onboarding for new hire. Works closely with branch staff to assign new hire to a case and/or case. Coordinates completion of new hire paperwork with People Services Specialist (HR). Provides feedback to improve recruiting policies and practices; including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and other areas in which the company may not be competitive within the market. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training. Demonstrates an ability to identify and solve problems with initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions. Maintains rapport with candidates and employees and effectively promotes harmonious interpersonal relationships. Meets both hiring and start expectations of the branch to grow the business. Maintains confidentiality of all employees, patient/client and company issues. Performs all other job duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: Ability to leverage interpersonal skills with a diverse population of candidates. Excellent organizational skills with attention to details. Basic understanding of Microsoft Office required.

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing/Communications/Provider Relations (preferred). One year of sales or recruiting experience (preferred).

Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to write, dictate or use a keyboard to communicate directives. Utilizes proper body mechanics in multiple environments. Requires the ability to function in multiple environments.

FLSA Status: Exempt. EEO Status: Executive/Senior Level Officials and Managers.
