Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Professional Location: Cary, NC 27511 Job Type: Contract (6 Months with Possible Extension) Work Arrangement: Onsite Key Responsibilities Develop, propose, and implement Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) processes and methods. Plan and execute the rollout of EHS programs and projects while monitoring milestones. Analyze and monitor adherence to EHS standards within assigned organizations. Prepare regular EHS reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory authorities. Monitor changes in EHS laws and regulations and recommend updates to internal standards. Support internal and external EHS audits. Maintain operational communication with external regulatory authorities. Deliver EHS training to employees and management. Stay current with regional, state, and local EHS regulations and standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environmental compliance, and business processes. Required Qualifications 2+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) experience or Master's level entry. Good knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to support projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and training skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting EHS audits and regulatory reporting. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments. Knowledge of environmental and workplace safety regulations. Experience improving business processes and technical procedures.
