Assistant Center Manager

We are actively seeking an Assistant Center Manager with current or recent UPS Store experience to help run day-to-day operations of our new franchise in San Antonio. If you're a UPS Store associate ready to advance, an Assistant Manager seeking a fresh start, or a former UPS Store employee ready to return, this is your opportunity. You'll help the Center Manager deliver world-class customer service to all customers while contributing to profit/loss performance, service delivery, and team development. This role offers a clear advancement path to Center Manager for candidates who demonstrate operational excellence and leadership potential.

Required Qualifications
  • 1 year retail store operations experience OR 2 years customer service/retail experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Available to work flexible schedule including Saturdays
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office; ability to learn Adobe Suites
  • Strong customer service orientation and phone skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to "listen and lead"
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually (higher range for UPS Store experienced candidates)

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Stand and walk for entire shift (up to 8 hours)
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach to handle packages
  • Manual dexterity to operate computers, printers, and equipment
  • Clear vision to read labels, invoices, and computer screens
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Work Schedule
  • Full-time position: 35-40 hours per week
  • Rotating schedule including Saturdays (center closed Sundays)
  • Typical shifts: Opening (7:30am-3:30pm) or Closing (12:00pm-8:00pm)
  • Holiday coverage required (excluding major holidays when closed)
  • Schedule flexibility required during peak seasons
