Description - What You Will Do - Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory examinations-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-according to established guidelines.
- Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
- Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for various testing as needed.
- Document all protocols meticulously, train incoming staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality benchmarks.
- Ensure a clean, secure working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications - ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
